  1. St. Albert was the first person to observe the element arsenic (Ar).
  2. He was one of the thirty-four Doctors of the Church
  3. He taught St. Thomas Aquinas, who is also a Doctor of the Church
  4. St. Albert the Great is also known as Albertus Magnus
  5. St. Albert worked in pretty much all fields of science, including theology.
