Written, Created, and Hatched by Bill Gaston of McAllen, Texas.
This plane, my design of Mr. Magoo, was hatched 9 mos. ago. The span is 72", the area of wing is 690 sq. in.
and as you see it the weight is 4 lb 6 oz. It has a K&B Sportster 0.28 in the nose. The under-cambered wing
is tapered which made it a headache to cut the ribs. It's controls are rudder, elevator and throttle (RET). Having a low wing loading of about 16 oz / sq. ft - with power off it should glide like a heavy FF.
Mr. Magoo (2012)
Birds have feathers and so does Mr. Magoo ( a Mocking Bird Feather in stabilizer on right side.)
Every rib was cut a different length. 6 foot wingspan.
You can see the under-camber. From an old Goldberg airfoil. The box up front w/ the Texas flag holds the battery.
